Abstract

The study focuses on the level of awareness of ICSSR Services and Programs among research scholars at Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari, Bihar. 218 questionnaires were distributed to research academics and 109 of them were completed. The data was collected through a questionnaire, covering areas such as program and service awareness, library usage, satisfaction with services, and awareness of current information on research in the social sciences disciplines. The results indicate that the majority of research scholars are knowledgeable about the services, resources, and programs offered by ICSSR.

Deepika Kumari her bachelor's degree completed from Patna University, Blisc and Mlisc completed from Nalanda open University, Bihar. She's toppers in Blisc, she’s qualified in UGC NET and also awarded ICSSR Doctoral research Fellowships. Now she's pursuing Ph.D in Library and Information Science at Mahatam Gandhi Central University, Motihari Bihar -845401.

Prof. Ranjeet Kumar Choudhary, Professor and Head, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari Bihar-845401

Prof. Ranjeet Kumar Choudhary has received Ph. D. degree in Library and Information Science, a gold medallist in Master of Library & Information Science and first class first rank holder in the Bachelor of Library & Information Science. He has more than 17th years of post-graduate teaching and 16th years of research experience. His contribution on 5 Ph D awarded, 16 M Phil awarded and 88 masters’ dissertation completed. He has performed as external examiners on more than 17 Central and State university in India. He has published more than 72 research papers in refereed international/national journals, book chapters, conference proceedings, more than 10 invited lectures and books.Presently, He is Dean, School of Computational Sciences, Information and Communication Technology, Head, Department of Library and Information Science and also In-charge University.
