Abstract

Within the scope of this study, the impact and difficulties of digital education in rural regions are investigated. Particular attention is paid to the ways in which digital tools and platforms have an effect on learning outcomes, as well as the obstacles that prevent successful implementation. Digital education has arisen as a revolutionary instrument that is capable of bridging the educational divide between urban and rural areas as a result of the fast expansion of technology. The study demonstrates the beneficial impacts of digital education, including increased access to a variety of learning resources, improved engagement, and higher digital literacy among students who are located in rural locations. On the other hand, it also highlights substantial hurdles that prevent the full promise of digital learning in these regions from being realised. These problems include restricted internet access, poor infrastructure, a lack of teacher training, and digital illiteracy. The purpose of this study is to give useful insights into the solutions that are required to overcome these problems. This will ensure that digital education may successfully contribute to improved educational results in rural areas. This will be accomplished by a detailed investigation of these elements. The purpose of this research is to contribute to the current discussion on how to develop educational systems that are more inclusive, accessible, and equitable for students from rural areas. This research helps to pave the way for a future that is more digitally empowered by providing a knowledge of both the potential and the hurdles that digital education presents.

Dr Chandramoulesh G K received his master degree from Bengaluru university in Master of Education. He obtained his Ph.D. Degree in Education from Karnatak University, Dharwad, Karnataka India. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in Cauvery B Ed College, Bengaluru Karnataka India. He has 12 year of teaching experience in different B Ed Colleges.
