Abstract

For the complete development of the country and for the welfare and peace of the world, equal participation between women and men is essential. Women are an inseparable part of family, society, and the nation. Women have excelled in every field. This research paper supports the fact that a complete human being is formed only when the qualities of both women and men are harmonized. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar stated, “I measure the progress of a community or nation by how much progress women have made.” Women are equal to men and have proven their contribution to the development of the nation.

Abstract in Gujarati Language: દેશનાં સંપૂર્ણ વિકાસ અને દેશના હિત તેમજ વિશ્વ કલ્યાણ અને શાંતિ માટે સ્ત્રી – પુરુષ વચ્ચે સમાન ભાગીદારી થાય તે જરૃરી છે. મહિલા પણ કુટુંબ, સમાજ અને રાષ્ટ્રનું એક અવિભાજ્ય અંગ છે. નારીએ દરેક ક્ષેત્રમાં શ્રેષ્ઠતા હાંસલ કરી છે. આ સંશોધન પત્ર એ તથ્યને સમર્થન આપે છે કે સંપૂર્ણ માનવ વ્યક્તિ ત્યાં જ બને જ્યાં સ્ત્રી અને પુરુષના ગુણોનું સમન્વય હોય છે. ડૉ. બી. આર. આંબેડકર કહે છે કે, ‘હું સમુદાયની કે રાષ્ટ્રની પ્રગતિને મહિલા એ કેટલી પ્રગતિ કરી છે તેના દ્વારા માપું છું.’ મહિલાઓ એ પુરુષો સમોવડી છે. તેને રાષ્ટ્રના વિકાસમાં પોતાનું યોગદાન આપી આ બાબતને સાબિત કરી બતાવી છે.
