In the context of digital transformation, economic integration, and increasing demands for sustainable development, this study focuses on analyzing the opportunities and challenges in enhancing dynamic capabilities to improve the sustainable business performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. Specifically, the study examines opportunities arising from digital transformation, international integration, government support policies, market changes, and the innovation ecosystem, while also identifying challenges related to resource constraints, technology, management capabilities, human resources, and the institutional environment. Based on this analysis, the study proposes several managerial and policy implications to support SMEs in strengthening dynamic capabilities and promoting long-term sustainable development.
