Abstract

This comparative study examines the differences in learning styles between students of Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) and General Secondary Schools (GSSs). Using t-tests for analysis, the results show a significant difference in the learning preferences of students from these institutions. The findings have implications for educational policy and teaching strategies in these distinct educational environments.

Ms. Lipirekha Panda, has completed her Bachelor of Arts from Govt. Women's College, Baripada, Masters from North Orissa University, Takatpur, Baripada, Mayurbhanj. She is also continuing her Ph.D in Education at Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanjdeo University, Takatpur, Mayurbhanj, Odisha, India. Currently, she is currently working as Lecturer and H.O.D. of Education at Sriram Chandra Bhanj Degree College, Ragdha, Mayurbhanj, Odisha, India.

Dr. Pusparani Patra, M.Ed., Ph.D, an Academician and Reader  in Education. She has guided more than 60 M.Ed and M.Phil students and 6 Doctoral research scholars. She is also a recognised writer of Odia language and specialises in essays, short stories and fiction. She also had served as a visiting member of NCTE, ERO, Odisha from 2013 to2021 and acted as visiting faculty in various Teachers Education Institutions in Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal and Jharkhand States. She is also a member of many literary councils. Presently, she is working as Principal -cum-H.O.D. of Education at Laxmi Kant College, Bangriposi, Mayurbhanj, Odisha, India.
