Abstract

The present world is changing in a phase where there is no instrument which can exactly measure how fast the world is changing. In this ever-changing business market, Artificial Intelligence is one of the important techniques which is helping the employees in various aspects. But as there will be always a flip side for any coin, there are some risks and issues associated with the Artificial Intelligence. Improvement of productivity as well as efficiency, new job creation and improved decision making are positive side of AI whereas loss of privacy, reduction of jobs, and discrimination are issues with AI. The present research work focuses on employee perceptions towards changing trends of AI in the workspace. It is found that different sector respondents are feeling that government should play a vital role in aiding the employees in this AI era.

Dr E.M. Naresh Babu, Professor, ABBS School of Management, Bengaluru

Dr Naresh Eeti Mohan received his Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Mathematics from Sri Venkateswara University, Andhra Pradesh, India. He obtained his Ph.D. Degree in Management Studies from Sri Venkateswara University, Andhra Pradesh, India. He worked for Bank of America Continuum Solutions, Hyderabad as a Senior Team Member in Global Treasury Services & Operations. Presently he is serving ABBS School of Management, Bengaluru, India as Professor. He is a member of Bangalore University Affiliated B-School Directors’/Principals’ Association, MTC Global and NHRD Kolkata Chapter. He is a NSE certified Financial Advisor and holds certifications from National Stock Exchange’s NISM platform. His areas of interest are Operations Management and Stock Markets. His research work includes many National and International conferences and secured many certificates from NPTEL platform and translated Financial Accounting subject into Telugu language.

Mr B. Sathwik, Sales Trainee, Piramal Pharma Limited, Bengaluru

Mr. Sathwik Batthula is an enthusiastic and driven professional currently working as a Sales Trainee at Piramal Pharma Limited. Sathwik obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Management from ABBS School of Management, Bengaluru and is paving his way toward a successful career in sales and business analytics.  He is an analytical thinker with a strong interest in Business Analytics and Machine Learning and is proficient in tools and languages like Python, R, and SQL, alongside a solid foundation in Data Science.  With expertise in technical tools like MS Excel, Tableau, and Power BI, Sathwik strives to leverage his analytical and strategic abilities to enhance business performance and contribute to organizational growth.  Sathwik has completed projects in Lean Six Sigma and Scrum Master methodologies and has actively participated in various national and international competitions at the postgraduate level. Currently honing his skills in sales strategy, performance analysis, and stakeholder engagement, He aims to bridge the gap between analytics and real-world business challenges, driving innovation and growth.

Ms K. Haseena, Sales officer Trainee, Nestle Pvt Ltd, Tirupati

Ms Haseena is a Sales officer trainee, Nestle Pvt Ltd, Tirupati who has completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Management from ABBS School of Management, Bengaluru. She is specialized in Marketing and bagged many certificates from national and state level management fests and events. She is a certified Supply Chain Management practitioner and also has expertise in Advanced Excel and SPSS packages. She is a self-motivated personality and has acted as one of the co-ordinators for national and international fests in the ABBS School of Management like Peace Economics and Conflict Management. She is also trained with Theatre in Management and presented one play in the university level. She has successfully completed six-sigma certification and plenty in-house projects and earned several certifications, which shows her attitude towards continuous learning and professional development.
