Abstract

The paper attempts to understand the mapping of individualism and the nature of the state. The underlying reason for such a study is to explore the factors that led to the emergence and acceptance of individualism as the most plausible theory of the state. It is believed that it is making a re-emergence in the 21st century with the same vigour, therefore, compelling us to re-explore the antecedents of the theory of Individualism and its nature of the state.
