With a rich history that dates back thousands of years, sports are an essential component of India's cultural legacy. India is a major force in the world sports market today, producing elite athletes across a range of sports. India's sports law has evolved dramatically over time, mirroring the nation's increasing interest in sports. The growth and management of sports in India are greatly influenced by regulatory organizations including the National Anti-Doping Agency, the Sports Authority of India, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and National Sports Federations. Athletes, sports organizations, and other stakeholders face many difficulties as a result of India's insufficient and disjointed legal structure governing sports. In order to handle these issues, a thorough legal framework has become more and more necessary in recent years. Important problems still need to be resolved, like the opaqueness of sports governance and the requirement for efficient dispute resolution procedures. India's sports laws are anticipated to keep changing in the upcoming years as the nation aims to become a major international sports destination. The purpose of this study is to investigate new developments in India's sports-law nexus.
