Abstract

Gender sensitization in the workplace refers to the process of increasing awareness and understanding about gender equality, roles, and issues. In today’s evolving professional environments, fostering gender sensitivity is critical for promoting inclusion, reducing discrimination, and ensuring equitable opportunities for all employees. Despite progress in gender representation, implicit biases, microaggressions, wage gaps, and workplace harassment remain pervasive. This article explores the need for gender sensitization, identifies existing gaps, evaluates the implications of gender-insensitive practices, and recommends strategies to build equitable workplaces.
