Psychological Conflict of Women in Ram Mori’s Short Story Mahotu

રામ મોરીની ‘મહોતું‘ વાર્તામાં નારીનો મનોસંઘર્ષ

Abstract

The young writer Ram Mori’s talent is flourishing in many areas. His writing style has sharpened across short stories, serialized writing, and screenplay writing. Experiences from rural life have been particularly useful in shaping his short stories. In most of his stories, struggles around rural life and women’s lives emerge along with various forms of hardships. This is evident in his story collection Mahotu. Keeping the story Mahotu in focus, an attempt has been made here to depict the psychological conflicts of women’s lives.

Abstract in Gujarati Language: યુવા લેખક રામ મોરીની પ્રતિભા અનેક ક્ષેત્રે ખીલી રહી છે. તેની કલમની ધાર ટૂંકી વાર્તા, કટાર લેખન, પટકથા લેખન વગેરે ક્ષેત્રે આગળ વધી વધારેને વધારે ધારદાર બની રહી છે. ગ્રામ પરિવેશના અનુભવો તેમની ટૂંકીવાર્તા ઘડવામાં વિશેષ રીતે ઉપયોગી નીવડ્યા છે. તેમની મોટાભાગની વાર્તાઓમાં ગ્રામ્યજીવન અને સ્ત્રી જીવનની આસપાસનો સંઘર્ષ અનેક પ્રકારની પીડાઓ સાથે ઉપર તરી આવે છે. તેમના વાર્તાસંગ્રહ ‘મહોતું’માં તે જોઈ શકાય છે. અહીં ‘મહોતું’ વાર્તાને નજર સમક્ષ રાખી નારીજીવનનો માનોસંઘર્ષ આલેખવાનો ઉપક્રમ રાખ્યો છે.
