The construction sector is considered an important industry in Indian society, providing employment and contributing significantly to the economy and social development. Women laborers in this industry work tirelessly day and night, often performing physically demanding tasks, and contribute to the nation’s progress. The present research focuses on the role of women laborers in the construction industry and the challenges they face. This sector not only provides employment but also makes a notable contribution to the country’s economic development.
Abstract in Gujarati Language: બાંધકામ ક્ષેત્ર ભારતીય સમાજમાં રોજગારી પ્રદાન કરનારા મહત્વપૂર્ણ ઉદ્યોગમાં ગણાય છે, જે અર્થતંત્ર અને સામાજિક વિકાસમાં નોંધપાત્ર યોગદાન આપે છે. આ ઉદ્યોગમાં મહિલા મજૂરો દિવસ રાત મહેનત કરી, લોહી પરસેવો એક કરી રાષ્ટ્રની પ્રગતિમાં ફાળો આપે છે. પ્રસ્તુત સંશોધનમાં બાંધકામ ઉદ્યોગમાં મહિલા મજૂરોની ભૂમિકા અને પડકારો અંગે અભ્યાસ હાથ ધરાયેલ છે. આ ઉદ્યોગ માત્ર રોજગારી પૂરું પાડતું નથી, પણ દેશના આર્થિક વિકાસમાં પણ નોંધપાત્ર યોગદાન આપે છે.
