Women's Consciousness in Pawan Karan's Poems: General Analysis

Abstract

Pawan Karan is the poet of innovations. The form of woman found in his poems is completely different from the creations of all the creators. He has discussed many forms and problems of women through his poetry. On the one hand, there is an illiterate wife, who is despised by her husband, on the other hand, in the name of love, there are women who make the body a part of the object, sometimes being rejected by the lover, sometimes after getting love, considering him as life, in the end there are women who become mere mistresses. On the one hand there are husbands who run after other women considering their wife unattractive and on the other hand there are cowardly men who hide their shortcomings. That is, the exploiters are always men and it is the destiny of women to be exploited. With the change of society, the exploitation and atrocities on women did not reduce. He has assumed new forms. Pawan Karan made this the basis of his poems.

Abstract in Hindi Language:

पवन करण नवीनताओं के कवि हैं। उनकी कविताओं में नारी का जो रूप मिलता है वह सारी रचनाकारों की रचनाओं से बिल्कुल भिन्न हैं। उन्होंने अपनी कविता के माध्यम से नारी के अनेक रूपों और समस्याओं पर विचार किया है। एक ओर अनपढ़ पत्नी है, जो पति द्वारा तिरस्कृत है, दूसरी ओर प्रेम के नाम पर देह को भेाग वस्तु बनाये प्रेमी से कभी तिरस्कार, कभी प्यार पाकर, उसे जिन्दगी मानकर अंत में रखैल मात्र बननेवाली औरतें हैं। एक ओर पत्नी को अनाकर्षक मानकर दूसरी औरतों के पीछे भागने वाले पति है तो दूसरी ओर अपनी कमी केा छुपाकर रहने वाले कायर पुरूष हैं। अर्थात् शोषक तो हमेशा पुरूष ही हैं और स्त्रियों की नियति है शोषित होना। समाज के बदलाव के साथ नारी पर हो रहे शोषण और अत्याचार कम नहीं हुआ। वह नये-नये रूप धारण कर लिया हंै। इसी को पवन करण ने अपनी कविताओं का आधार बनाया।
