Aftermath of COVID-19 in India: Impact on Major Sectors of the Economy

The global economy has undergone a substantial perturbation due to the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic. The repercussions of this pandemic on the Indian economy were notably unprecedented. Despite pre-existing economic challenges, the outbreak of COVID-19 exacerbated the situation, leading to a contraction in economic activities and loss of life. Virtually all sectors encountered the adverse effects of reduced domestic demand and diminished exports. The present investigation is a dedicated endeavor aimed at dissecting the multifaceted influence of this pandemic on distinct sectors of the economy. Furthermore, this study also delves into potential ramifications. The study encompasses an assessment of how the pandemic wielded its influence on assorted economic sectors and how governmental interventions played a pivotal role in surmounting the crisis.
