Abstract

The UAE's economy performed well in 2023, with an estimated growth rate of 6.6%, driven by higher oil production and improvements in non-oil sectors. Due to rising oil prices and OPEC quota exemptions, oil production averaged 3 MBPD in the first half of 2023. By 2030, it is expected that the bilateral trade between India and the UAE will reach a total of $250 billion USD. India and the UAE are working towards strengthening their relationship and advancing a low-carbon future as two of the most important energy trade partners.
